  • Let's get our creativity on!  Start by selecting your stencil of choice. Leave it on the backer.
  • Place the plastic bag/page over top of the stencil
  • With the Sharpie, carefully trace around the outside of the design (and any key elements)
  • Place a little bit of Chalkology paste into a mixing dish and add water, Stir until it is a nice paint consistency (or use watercolour paints).
  • Using a paint brush, paint onto the plastic inside of your traced design.  Be creative with your colours. It's okay if you go outside the lines a little bit.
  • Now add your background colours around the outside of your design.
  • Once your design is fully coloured in, while the paste is still wet, carefully place your watercolour paper on top. Or if you are brave flip the plastic over onto the watercolour paper!
  • Allow this to dry or speed it up with a hair dryer.
  • Since we are working on paper- Fuzz off your silk screen stencil as it will really want to cling.  ** Fuzzing is the action of placing the sticky side of your stencil onto a fuzzing cloth or towel to pick up "fuzz" and remove a little bit of the stickiness. Once you wash your stencil the sticky will return.
  • With your silk screen stencil line up the design with the watercoloured image.
  • Using yourChalkology paste of choice, chalk your design as usual.
  • Peel, Reveal & Squeal!
